My primary gift is copywriting, crafting compelling and actionable prose that captivates an audience while influencing their behavior. In an effort to most effectively utilize that gift, I learned graphic design to ensure the imagery matched the messaging. Combined with a technical background that lends itself to web development and decades of experience with social media, I offer a robust and unique skillset that brings values to every organization of which I am a part.

2020 PDF Portfolio
Retained through my LLC, Muddy Dog Creative, I developed and implemented a public relations plan to leverage their 60th Anniversary. As of June 2025, the plan has resulted in a 550% increase in media placements over the previous year, driving increased foot traffic to the Front Street campus. Review some of the collateral I prepared below.

Retained through my LLC, Muddy Dog Creative, I developed and implemented a strategic omnichannel communication program aimed at increasing brand awareness and driving corporate speaking engagements.
As an employee, I rebranded the corporate image with a new logo. Heavily dependent on forms for sample submissions, I revised all their intake forms to include fillable digital PDF versions, making it easier for clients to submit and laboratory staff to read and input.
As an active volunteer in the Rotary Club of Dayton, I chair the PR/Marketing Committee, where I manage press releases and social media for the Club. I also assist with planning Summerfest, our annual end-of-summer music festival at Levitt Pavilion Dayton. I designed the logo for Summerfest, as well as prepared the sponsor form, media kit, and website landing page.
The Club retained me to redesign our website, resulting in increased organic search traffic. I also built a dedicated website for the Rotary Club of Dayton Foundation, including a custom grant processing application to transition to a paperless process. Applicants can save their progress and track applications. Administrators release approved applications for Trustee review and scoring, all done digitally within the app. Everything is automated and paperless, making the process much more user-friendly for applicants, Trustees, and administrators.
Iandras Moontree isn’t just a talented painter, vibrantly capturing life through colorful acrylics on canvas, but she’s also a dear friend. I designed her website in 2012 when my skills were limited. In 2023, when I decided to launch out on my own, hers was the first website I built. She has since semi-retired and removed her website from the internet.
When Joe Bica decided to run for Portage County Treasurer in 2024, he enlisted our help through Muddy Dog Creative. We designed a logo, yard signs, a website, business cards, a palm card, direct mail pieces, and social media graphics, in addition to drafting fundraising solicitations and advising on targeting.
I love developing a good media kit to grab attention, promote your brand, and position you for coverage.
A child of the nineties, I’ve grown up with the Internet. I created my first website back in the Geocities era, using good old-fashioned HTML. Below are some websites I’ve built that are still online.
